Unlocking the Power of Data Citation: First Release of the Data Citation Corpus

February 22 @ 4:00 pm 5:00 pm UTC+0

The lack of a centralized resource for citations to datasets has hindered the evaluation of how open data is used. To address this community need, DataCite is leading a project to bring together data citations from diverse sources into a comprehensive and publicly accessible resource: the Data Citation Corpus. The first release of the corpus is the result of a partnership with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to incorporate for the first time citations for datasets with both DOIs and accession numbers. Join our webinar to hear about the first release of the corpus, provide feedback on its current features, and learn more about how you can engage with the project.
