DataCite Open Hours – January 2022

The first DataCite Open Hours of 2022 took place on Wednesday 26 January with a total of 62 participants joining (including DataCite staff).
Matt Buys, DataCite’s executive director, kicked off the meeting with a presentation about the strategic plan – DataCite Vision to Reality. This was followed by a really interesting polling of the attendees to find out more about how to measure the success of the plan: download the results.
The Product Engineering team provided updates on the DataCite roadmap and we heard two metadata schema suggestions—you can vote for these suggestions on the DataCite Roadmap. Links to the short talks below:
